This memo is a response to the questions that was raised by the CEO of Whole Foods Mr. Robb concerning the availability of affordable organic foods from other competitors. Mr. Robb, when it comes to social marketing look no other than Whole Foods weââ¬â¢ve been initiating in giving our target audience what they want. For our products, we try to make it eco-friendly as possible. We try to eliminate harmful ingredients in our cleaning products. It can leverage their tactics by putting advertisements on YouTube, TV etc. surely it will cost some money but more people will look at it rather than displaying ads on newspapers. At Whole Foods, we strive to tell our audience that our products are ââ¬Å"Responsibly grown.â⬠Key features that we look for in our partners are: â⬠¢ Soil Health â⬠¢ Air, Energy and Climate â⬠¢ Farmworker welfare â⬠¢ Waste Reduction â⬠¢ Water Conservation Protection Another way, that Whole Foods displays social marketing is by using cause-related marketing. Cause-related marketing is the cooperative efforts of a for- profit firm and a nonprofit organization for mutual benefit.
